5/08 What an awesome experience!!! We went for a wedding. The treatment we received was remarkable. Our room was upgraded to a "honeymoon suite" at no extra charge. The room was outstanding. We had our own patio with an ocean view about 30ft. away. The activities Sandals MoBay had to offer were spectacular. Even the "beach party" was moved indoors due to rain (and cold) and was too much fun! The service of every employee was beyond outstanding. But let me add that no one gets in a hurry in Jamaica. Life moves at a slow and peaceful pace. The food was great as well as the rum! If I had to give one tid bit of advice to someone traveling to MoBay it would be this: If you want to go into town shopping, hire a taxi driver from the resort. They do not work for the resorts but work with the resorts. It is WELL worth it. He took us to stores and he stayed with us every step of the way. He even stood at the counter to make sure we were not cheated. Sandals Montego Bay is a place that you dream of. I loved everything about it. Yes, the airport is literally right across the street and the planes do fly overhead very low. We will visit again very soon and we will highly recommend Sandals MoBay to anyone. Trisha, CA

4/08 My husband and I were in Montego Bay the end of April to get married. The hotel was kept very clean. The beaches were very clean also. The wedding planner and staff were great. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding. We had a party of 25 that came with us and they set up tables at the international buffet(excellent). You will never go thirsty or hungry here. We used the same taxi cab driver both times we left the resort and he was with us every step of the way, told us where to go and not to go and anything else we may need to have known. The only time we really needed any money was for taxi cabs. Most all of the shops takes credit cards. We went on under $500.00 cash. We never worried about stuff in our room. There was a safe in the room where we kept everything. I couldn't find any calling cards that would work down there. Montego Bay was a very nice couples resort. I would definitely recommend this resort and I'm sure we will be back for our anniversary. Loved It!!! CW, MN

1/08 We stayed at Sandals Montego Bay in January. We decided on this resort with another couple that we travel with. The other couple had previously vacationed at this resort years ago and loved it. We had such a great time. The room we stayed in was a luxury oceanfront room and it was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The view from our room was beautiful. Our friends were also just as pleased. The beach was nice and the pools were never really crowded. The food was good. One of the best parts of this resort is how close it is to the airport. The planes flying overhead was not a big deal at all. The staff at this resort was so nice and friendly. These people are the heart of the resort. They were always smiling and helpful. I had witnessed some of the staff being disrespected and mistreated by people and I was disgusted! All of the staff here work hard at their job (from the gardeners to the managment and everyone in between) and deserve respect and appreciation. So people remember to treat others with respect! 12/07 My wife and I stayed for one week and to be honest it was just too short. The food was very tastful, the service was top notch, room and scenery was great! We had the concierge service and it was well worth it. They were so helpful, professional, and made our stay that much easier. The resort itself was clean, had plenty of activities to do, and the beach was beautiful. The nightly entertainment was fun and enjoyable. The play makers helped us enjoy our stay with lots of fun and laughs! The staff was always friendly and helpful. Two thumbs up. Chris, MI

8/07 - Make sure you do your research on the Sandals hotels. There is a vast difference in the quality between them. Montego Bay was much more of a party resort than we expected. It is RIGHT next to the airport- and therefor it's very noisy when planes take off. The staff were wonderful- very outgoing and genuine. If you are looking for a more upscale resort- then try either the Sandals Negril or Dunn's River- both seemed more classy. The food wasn't great- but it's what you would expect from an "All Inclusive". I would not suggest flying Air Jamaica though- awful customer service and very unreliable- Beware. The Dunn's River Falls adventure was a good time- bring a water camera and be prepared to spend money as you exit the park through the craft market. KT

7/07 My husband and I just got married on the 13th of July. We had the most georgous wedding. If I could to do it all over again I would not change a thing. Not only was our wedding perfect in every way, so was the week that we spent there. We had the time of our lives! We both agree that we have spoiled ourselves by staying at the best (Sandals), And we are convinced that we will never settle for anything less. KL, Ohio

3/07 Those airplanes to me were a real pain. You'll never need an alarm clock there either because every morning at 7 AM sharp as I nursed my rum induced hangover a large jet taking off would convince me that the worlds end was near. Seriously though, it would have been nice to sleep in a bit longer. That's the only thing that made this vacation a little less than perfect. The food was incredible, beach awesome, grounds superb (photographs won't do it justice), evening entertainment was of high quality, room not fancy but everything worked and it was comfortable. The staff was way more energetic than I ever get at work and they were super helpful and friendly. I enjoy windsurfing when there's no ice on the lakes here, and their equipment was in very good condition. The snorkeling excursions were a lot of fun, way better than just viewing through the glass bottom boat. One day snorkeling we all got bit a lot by little jellyfish. That's kind of like being in a swarm of mosquitos. They let in some local vendors once a week to sell their crafts, shirts, etc. They are unobtrusive and do not pressure you. If you go to the Negril Sandals, there are "aggressive" pedlars everywhere everyday and the beach is terrible compared to Montego Bay.The drinks are strong . Apparently rum is cheaper than mix there. It really is paradise! The resort is adults only, so no screaming kids to be found. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, have 2 of 'em, but if I'm going somewhere to relax without them, why would I want to put up with everyone elses. JB
