6/08 This all-inclusive resort was a great place for our honeymoon. It's fairly inexpensive, as all-inclusive places go and the service was fabulous. The ocean was just steps away and there was so much to do there - great snorkeling and a wide selection of other water sports. Breezes is a little lesser-known than some other places, so when we were there, it was not crowded at all. The room was comfortable and the location was fine. We did take an excursion trip one day to Ocho Rios. If you are into relaxing by the pool/beach, being served wonderful food and drinks anytime you want them by a warm, friendly staff, this is your place. Liz, Indiana

3/08 My husband and I just returned from a short 4 night trip. We had a great time! We are seasoned travelers and prefer all-inclusive. We typically stay from 3 to 5 star rated hotels. If you go to Breezes knowing what to expect, you will be fine. It is a FUN party place OR you can just relax on the beach or by the pool - no problem. Good beach, excellent snorkeling at your beach! Lots of water sports included at no charge, glass bottom boat, sailing, skiing, knee boarding! They do not bug you to participate in the pool games, but it does make your trip more fun! We relaxed on the beach until our last day and then decided to stay up by the pool because it was a bit overcast. This is the day we enjoyed the activities and I wish we would have took part on day one - even if just to watch! It was a lot of fun!! I think even if it rained, you would have fun at this resort!!
This place is NOT fancy, it is probably the worst room we have ever had on a vacation (we got a cabin room which did not have any window that opened and looked out into a hallway) but I would still go back because the staff was EXCELLENT!!! They made our trip a blast! The room was clean, just very small and dated. It did have good sheets and towels and we had no problem with the hot water or toilet. Air worked great, lots of TV channels, coffee/tea in room. We asked to upgrade, but they were booked.
As far as activities go, there is something going on every night; Karaoke, Toga party, PJ party, Disco, (some nights happening, some not so) or it is very easy and safe to go out on the HipStrip. We were very hesitant about this being it is Jamaica, but you will have no problem walking (even at night) to Margaritaville or Bobsled or Coral Cliffs. We never made it out because we were having so much fun at the resort. We partied till 5 am one night and then called it at about midnight/1am on others and things were still happening. We met a lot of really fun people, both older and younger than us. What I liked about the resort was that the pool bar stayed open until 1am (sometimes later if things were kickin' and the disco bar was open until 4 am so no problem getting a drink whenever)
The food was okay, some days better than others, but there was always something to eat and we were never hungry!! Jerk chicken at the pool grill is a must!! Two nights they had pasta made to order, there was carved beef, carved pork tenderloin, always salad, always chicken. We never got sick - a definite plus because we have at other places that were much nicer! This place is great if you are going to have a good time, you don't care about the room. Jenny, MN

2/08 Had a great time. Nicest staff I have ever experienced in the caribbean. We had a deluxe oceanfront room with a king sized bed and a beautiful balcony overlooking the ocean. The beach was a little small but beautiful calm emerald green water. Can get a little crowded with cruise ship passengers at times. Watersports are included, snorkling is very good right there off the beach, watersking and hobie cat sailing are included. Dining at Martinos is excellent but you need reservation, otherwise food at the buffett is good. Drinks are great, premium alcohol, champagne is always available. Great place for a very relaxing vacation. There are lots of excursions to Ocho Rios and Negril available through the tour desk. Nobody on the beach bothers you but when you leave the resort to walk around you get the usual harrassment. The resort itself is beautiful and well maintained. Would definitely go back! 1/08 This was our first "All Inclusive" package and it was extremely well worth it. I was skeptical at first, but it is everything it has on the brochures.We celebrated New Years there and it was excellent, and the food was great, everything from cheeses, fruits, veggies to stone crab claws and stuffed lobster. It was a fabulous night! The rest of the week was fabulous as well. The rooms were extremely clean, the dining areas and the beach were clean as well. Keep in mind for those who say the beaches are dirty that it is a public beach. No one is allowed to own that beach property. Breezes employees take care of the beach in front of their hotel and it was nice, they raked and cleaned it every day. Snorkeling was terrific inside the netted area. They do have snorkeling and scuba diving tours if you want to see bigger and more fish. The service was phenominal!!! They do a great job keeping everything alive and going with music and games. The only thing I didn't like was sometimes the music was too loud. So if you didn't have a good time it was because of you. . Location was the best!!! 10 minutes from the airport, walking distance to Margaritaville and the craft markets. It was terrific! I can't wait to go back! Patty, MI

11/07 My husband and I were married at Breezes in November. We absolutely loved every minute of our 1 week trip. The hotel was awesome, our deluxe ocean view room was amazing - the view was breathtaking. It may not be a 5 star hotel, but it was very clean and in a perfect location. The staff was more than friendly and accomodating. The food was delicious and the drinks were plentiful! We are planning on going back for our one year anniversary. Even though it's located on a public beach, you would never know it! The local police patrol it, no one bothered us and it was very clean. Everything was just lovely! I can't say enough about how much we loved Breezes and Montego Bay. Jamie, CO
