REVIEWS

8/08 The Beach Palace resort is a modern new resort in the heart of the hotel zone within walking distance to shopping and clubs. The rooms are pretty simliar with the Sun and the Cancun Palace. There are oceanview rooms and lagoonview. There is a huge convention building right in front of the hotel facing the lagoon, so if you're on the lower floors on that side, you'll have no view at all.
There are four restaurants and the food is good. The wait staff at all the restaurants were super! There are two pools and a bar and grill on the top of the building. Me and my husband spent most of our time at the Skybar and the pool. The view from the top is unbelieveable! You can see most of Cancun from up there. The hotel has the main pool on the ground level with a pool bar. There is also a kid's pool and activity area and we saw many kids having a great time with the staff. There were some shows dinner including the Mayan Night and Mexican show.We could see the shows from our balcony. I want to mention that there is no beach at this resort. The waves come right up to the wall of the hotel. Great vacation all in all! We would definitely go back. Jill, NM

6/08 My husband and I took our teenage daughter to Beach Palace in June. We had a great overall experience and are hoping to come again next year. Upon arrival to the resort we were greeted with champagne and cool towels and carnation for us girls. Our room was oceanfront and very spacious. The balcony is like another room! The lounging beds are a nice touch, too. Really allowed us to spread out after a day of togetherness. My family made use of the wireless internet for business and pleasure. The tv was nice, but not too much available to watch. There is a sports bar/lounge, but again, not too much on except soccer and tennis.

We enjoyed the infinity and swim up pools immensely. Warm water temps and terrific service. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch buffets and ate at the outside terrace restaurant for steak and chicken. It's true that there is very little beach, but that doesn't matter to us. We are pool people. The ocean view is aweome from the balcony and infinity pool. Waves are strong, but we were fine staying within the designated area.

Service is impeccable. Never waited long for meals or drinks. Everything is super clean and gorgeous. Even the outside bathrooms! The thing that I would do differently is to ask for a room away from the elevator. My husband and I were woken out of sound sleep several times a few nights due to people speaking very loudly as they got on and off the elevator.

We only ventured off the resort to walk to La Isla Mall (15 min) for a change of scenery. Lovely outdoor mall with performers and many shops and restaurants. Otherwise, we stayed in the water most of the time, only getting out to eat! To sum up, service was tops, the room was gorgeous, pools were divine, food selection was good, property beautiful. 4/08 Very new and clean property! Rooms excellent, but request oceanfront. All inclusive service was terrific, food and drinks excellent. Breakfast and Lunch were perfect for us and hungry kids. Dinner had 3 restaurants to choose from, plus other Palace resorts to go to. Dinner restaurants were good, but after four days went out on the town to try some others. I can't say enough good things about this resort. Great family vacation! HG, Indiana

3/08 Wonderful resort!!!! Although the beach is diminished due to the hurricane, Beach Palace had more beach than the hotels to either side of it. The rooms were beautiful with double jacuzzis, balcony with full-size lounger. Maid service was really good and replenishment of refreshments in the refrigerator was great.

The restaurants that we ate at were good and the wait staff was excellent. Our servers always had a smile on their face. You are in walking distance of Pat O'Brien's, Bubba Gumps and Margaritaville and bus ride to Senior Frogs, Carlos and Charlie's, and Coco Bongo. Bus ride is $1 each way. You are also walking distance of a wonderful shopping mall going south from the hotel.

There are three swimming pools with a cold jacuzzi on the main level and on the sky level there are two pools with a warm jacuzzi. We were there during Spring break so I can't say if it is always llike this, but if you want a chair at the pool I would recommend getting your towels on the chairs early in the morning.

The bartender (Miguel) at the swim up bar was awesome!!!! He took very good care of us.

I would recommend this resort to everyone, as we were treated very well by everyone. Jen, MI
